Hello Crafty Peeps,
It's once again time for our Collected Crafty Collab where we use are supplies we have had and not used. This month our theme is Outdoors and with the option of patterned paper. Before we get started I want to give a Big Shout Out to Karen from Misplaced Mojo.

Please make sure to stop by each blog and leave the some love. It really makes their day to receive comments on the projects they have put so much time into.

Lets get started as I have 3 cards for you today. I used to stamp sets 1 by Sunny Studio called Critter Campout and 1 by Kindred Stamps Galactic Adventures the Sequel.
Card #1
For this card I chose to do an inked background with inspiration from a card I saw on Pinterest. when I first saw the theme Outdoors, I right away thought of camping and seeing the stars at night. I was just playing around seeing if I could get the look I wanted and then would make the "real" background for the card.
Card #2
For card 2 I went with paper. I created a sunset background. First off I ink the various papers with coordinating Distress Oxide color and then tore it to get this look. I thought these colors looked like a sunset to me. I used the Neat and Tangled Stitched Slope Dies for the grass cut out from patterned paper from my stash. I added a half circle in which I used a gold glitter pen over the top to make it look lie the sun was setting. These 3 sure do look like they are having fun around the camp fire. I really would enjoy going camping right now for a day or two.
Card #3
Card 3 is where I used the Galactic Adventure the Sequel. This one is an inked background as well. I used a mask that I made to make sure the sun didn't get a lot of the sky color in it. I added some spots to make the brown look more like sand . I hope this looks like they are out in the desert with the sun shinning down on them. That is the look I was going for.
